Mary Dean Nevins, 81, of Rolla Missouri, beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, died on April 9, 2009. Mary died peacefully at home after a long illness and was surrounded by family and close friends.
Mary was born on July 7, 1927 in Fort Worth, Texas to Geraldine and Weyman Fincher. She graduated from R. L. Paschal High School in Fort Worth in 1944. She briefly worked for the National Weather Bureau from 1944-1946. Upon her marriage in 1946 to Dan she devoted herself to his career in the Air Force and raising their two children. Upon their retirement from the military she had an enjoyable career with the Medical Practice of Dr. James A. Farley where she worked as the Office Manager from 1966-1979. In 1994, they moved from Lake Whitney, Texas to Rolla, Missouri.
