Peter and Paul Church in Ionia and was a professional business woman, owning Mar-ka-tone, a beauty shop in Grand Ledge for many years before moving to Ionia, where she kept doing hair before running the Chamber of Commerce in Ionia and Belding where she worked closely with the Ionia Free Fair. She later moved on to helping people at Eight Cap.
