Age 89 passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2007. She was born on October 4, 1918 in Eagle Township the daughter of Pearly and Alice (Baker) Dutcher. Margaret was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Portland and the V. F. W. Post #4090 Ladies Auxillary. She retired in 1975 from Chrysler Corp in Lyons, enjoyed modified automobile racing with her husband, Claire, and had a great love for dogs. For years she hosted the Maple Corners “gabfest”. She was known for her Sunday breakfasts and her hot strong coffee. Margaret was preceded in death by her brothers Guy, Raymond, Donald, and Gerald Dutcher, sisters Reha Wells and Letty Dutcher and husband Claire in 1989. Surviving are a sister, Betty Wilson; several special friends Jim and Ann Stump, Tom and Diane Allen, Judy Crites, Leon Platte and Doug and Brenda Smith; several nieces and nephews.
