He enjoyed sports, fishing and camping. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Beverly Groh, brother Carlton Knapp, brothers-in-law Keith Russell and Robert Groh, and a nephew Kris Russell. Surviving are a sister, Miriam Russell; nieces Kimberly (Ed) Stank and Kerri (Mark) Michaud; several great nieces and nephews.
