She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with Royal Chapel C.M.E. Church, where she remained a faithful member until death.
Lula departed this life on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at her residence.
She leaves to cherish precious memories her children Lois McClain of Memphis, TN; Tony (Sellestine) Cole of Red Banks, MS, Teresa (Vernon) Briggs of Byhalia, MS, Rickey (Adrienne) Cole, Sharon Cole, Lawrence (Laquita) Cole Jr., all of Memphis, TN; two brothers Charley Humphries Jr. of Whiteville, TN, Larry (Clara) Humphries of Memphis, TN; two sisters Louise Rubbin of Roseville, TN, Earnestine (Larry) Hearns of Memphis, TN; one very special nephew, Roosevelt Rubbin Jr.; a very special neighbor, Riley Henderson; two brothers and one sister proceeded her in death; 17 grandchildren, three deceased, 24 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
