Lovonna Cecille Cole, the daughter of Lorraine (McCusker) and Einar Lindgren was born on August 19, 1943 in Warroad, MN. She attended school in Salol through the 5th grade, and then finished her schooling in Warroad.
On November 27, 1960 she and Mark Cole were united in marriage at the Norland Lutheran Church in Salol. They lived in International Falls and Mark worked for M & O Paper Mill. They then moved to Montana for nine years and ranched before moving to Warroad in 1969 where they still reside. Lovonna worked at home while the children were home and then started working at Marvin windows and doors in 1983. She was currently still working at Marvin’s after 24 years.
Lovonna enjoyed her flower gardening very much. She liked cooking, baking, vacationing, especially to Las Vegas, where she loved gambling. She road four-wheeler, camped, road horse frequently, and was a very good oil painting artist.
