Louise married Howard Lund in May of 1981 and they where married for 24 years when Howard passed away in February of 2005.
Since May of 2006 Louise has been residing with her two daughters in Detroit Lakes, MN. They hoped this would be better for her health and well being, cancer was not known at the time. The Lord had it in this plan to take her home. Louise will be missed by not only her family but many in the community. She worked as a waitress for many years at different restaurants and also owned a little restaurant of her own.
Louise is survived by her three children; her three sisters, Lorraine Otto of Big Sandy, Montana; Jeanette (Chanc) Cole, Jr. of Warroad, MN; and Mary Ann Brewster of Warroad, MN; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Adeline Fortier; her brothers, Daniel, Max and Kenneth Fortier and her sister Irene.
