Lou Efta, 66, of rural Argyle, MN, passed away on Saturday, Febraury 13, 2016 at his home under the care of hospice with his family by side.
Lou Allyn Efta was born on July 5, 1949 in Roseau, MN, the son of Louis “Al” and Clara (Hanke) Efta. He was raised in the Greenbush, MN and Terrebonne, MN area and he graduated from Red Lake High School in 1967. He served in the U.S.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Mary; children, Joseph (Tara) of Argyle, MN, Jacob (Kandy) of Viking, MN, Joshua (Laura) of Stephen, MN, Jedediah of Decatur, IL, Amber (Jamie) of Fargo, ND, Kasia (Darrick) Jarshaw of Newfolden, MN and Louis “Alex” of St. Louis Park, MN; ten grandchildren; and brother, Cary of Thief River Falls, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis “Al” and Clara; and brother, Pat.
