Age 89, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2007. She was born December 31, 1917 in Westphalia Twp. the daughter of Isadore and Anna (Stump) Fedewa. Loretta was an active member of St. Mary’s Parish in Westphalia and also the Christian Mothers Society. Family was her great joy. She loved nothing better than to be surrounded by their presence. The commotion they caused gave her strength and happiness. She was known for committing quiet, random acts of kindness for her family, friends, neighbors and other community members. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alvin Simon, daughter Katherine Snyder and two brothers Roman and Herman Fedewa. She is survived by her 3 sons Ronald “Butch” (Phyllis) Simon, Roy (Ann) Simon and Larry (Therese) Simon, extended family member Bob Shepard and his family, son-in-law, John Snyder; 12 grandchildren 6 great grandchildren; brothers Anthony “Tony” and Douglas “Dick” Fedewa.
