Lindsay Ann (Murphy) Greenwell, age 40, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 8:56 pm Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Il.  

Lindsay was born on February 11, 1980, in Hannibal, Missouri the daughter of Daniel and Ruth (Bowen) Murphy.

She was united in marriage to Ronald (Ron) Greenwell on July 5, 2003, in Hannibal.  He survives her of the home.

Other survivors include her parents, Daniel and Ruth (Bowen) Murphy of Hannibal; son, Kaiser Greenwell and daughter, Joely Greenwell of the home; sisters, Jacki Thurman (Brad) and Erin Smith of Hannibal; grandparents, Patricia Murphy of Hannibal, Keiko Callaway (James) of North Hollywood, CA; father and mother-in-law, Bernard and Barbara Greenwell of Shelbina; brothers-in-law Daniel Greenwell (Gyna) of Souix City, IA,  Thomas Greenwell (Tracy) of Mexico, MO, Glennon Greenwell of Shelbina,  Andrew Greenwell of Shelbina; sisters-in-law, Dette Speiser of Quincy, IL, Diane Addison (Greg) of Hannibal; nieces, Keilynn Elliott (Trey); Carley Thurman; Brooke Griffin (Jay); Olivia Greenwell, Remington Greenwell, Riley Greenwell; nephews, Thomas Thurman, Mason Smith, Fletcher Speiser, Alex Addison, Quintin Greenwell, Colin Greenwell, Liam Greenwell; great-nieces, Haven Elliott and Stella Griffin; great-nephews, River Elliott and Harrison Griffin.

Lindsay was preceded in death by grandparents Joseph Murphy and Robert and Sue Bowen, and her cousin Jerad Whitley. 

Lindsay graduated from Hannibal High School in the class of 1998.  She worked as a dental assistant at Hannibal Dental Group for the past nineteen years. 

You could find Lindsay at Hannibal Pirate football games or track events cheering on Kaiser or at Karen’s Dance Academy events supporting Joely’s love of dance.  Her favorite pastimes were spent gathered with family and friends at her parent’s pool, on her outdoor patio, or anywhere that she could sing karaoke.  Lindsay enjoyed crocheting, activities with her kids, and traveling when she could. Lindsay looked forward to Shark Week where she could binge watch the Sharknado marathon and sci-fi shark movies.  She was a “woman of the 90s”, loving Michael Jackson, Drop Dead Fred, the sitcom Friends, and her favorite wrestler The Rock. She will be remembered for her contagious smile and shining beauty, both inside and out!
