Linda Lou Hughes, 58, of Leasburg, formerly of Steelville, MO passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the Cuba Manor in Cuba, MO. She was born September 6, 1950 to Willard and Mae (Harris) Starks. On October 14, 1989 she was married to Mark Hughes in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
She will be sadly missed by her mother, Mae Farrar of Sullivan, MO; her husband, Mark Hughes of Leasburg, MO; two sons, Kevin Dale Kreamalmyer of WI and Richard Kreamalmyer and wife Jessica of Rolla, MO; one step-son, Raymond Hughes of CO; three brothers, Scott Starks of Leasburg, MO, David Metcalf of Bourbon, MO and Roger Farrar and wife Tina of Cuba, MO; one sister, Gina Adams and husband Les of Sullivan, MO; four grandchildren, Tyler and Hunter Kreamalmyer and Nathan and Jeremy Kreamalmyer; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her father and sister-in-law, Sue Starks.
She attended East Central College in Union and became certified as a nursing assistant in 1983.
Linda attended Covenant Praise Church in Cuba.
