Lawrence Franklin Studdard, Sr., passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, MO at the age of 90 years. He was born December 12, 1925 in Sullivan, MO to Newton and Bessie Griffth Studdard. On November 1, 1952 in Pea Ridge, MO he was united in marriage to Laura Jane Bridgeman.

He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII and Korean War. Lawrence attended Living Christ Holiness of Ebo, MO. He worked in the timber industry all of his life.

He always enjoyed hunting, fishing and planting a garden,  especially tomatoes.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of sixty-three years, Laura Jane Studdard of Sullivan, MO; three sons, David Bridgeman and wife Annanelle of Potosi, MO; Lawrence “Frank” Studdard, Jr. and Cornelius James Studdard both of Sullivan, MO; four daughters, Bonnie Lamkey and husband Vernon of Cherryville, MO, Mary Nelson and husband Larry and Lisa Junge and husband Randy all of Sullivan, MO and Beverly Robb of Bourbon, MO; one sister-in-law, Nellie Studdard of Sullivan, MO; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Jim Robb; three brothers, Tracy Studdard and wife Violet, Charles Studdard and wife Marie and Harold Studdard; and three sisters, Zelda Bailey and husband Robert, Frances and Rilla Studdard.

The Family received friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Pea Ridge Pentecostal Church in Pea Ridge, MO.
