Obituary
LaVerne Flood passed away on June 19, 2018 at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife of John E. Flood. She is survived by her son, John (Susan) Flood of Saint Charles, MO; two daughters, Christine (Chuck) Grugett of Wright City, MO, Deborah (Bob) Phillips of Wright City, MO; Grandchildren, Heather, Steven, Gina, Julianne, Robert, Tony, Daniel; Great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Craig, Samantha, Carter, Garrett, Nathaniel, Jessie, Katie, Ellie, Emma, Annalise; She is preceded in death by her father, Milton Lammers, mother, Helene Lammers, husband, John Flood, sisters, Marilyn and Lanore. LaVerne owned and operated Flood’s Cake and Flower Shop. She was a devoted and loving Mother, Wife and Grandma. LaVerne was very personable and never met a stranger. She had a positive, good attitude and was always in good spirits. She was a very happy person which she extended to the others around her. LaVerne loved her little dog Teddy and horse Fancy. She enjoyed traveling, Bingo trips with her friends, casinos and horse shows. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
