LaDonna May Cox, “Yap Yap” age 64, of Pascagoula passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023. She was born October 25, 1958 in Abilene, Texas and has been a lifelong resident of Pascagoula. She graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1976 and received her Associates Degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College at the age of 50. She was a lifelong member of Eastlawn United Methodist Church in Pascagoula and adored her family. She loved and enjoyed motorcycles, kids, grandkids, pets, her husband, parents, brothers, all family members and her extended biker family.
Preceded in death by her mother, Annis Ruth May; father who passed one day before her, Bobby Roland May; nephew, Joshua Allen May.
LaDonna is survived by her loving husband of 33 years (married Feb. 14, 1991), John Cox; two sons, Phillip Darnall and Matthew Darnall (Stacy); her daughter, Amber Dennis (Letrance) ; 9 grandchildren and one on the way; two brothers that she loved to aggravate, Bobby D. May (Lori) and Clifford A. May (Ester); numerous nieces, nephews, other relative, and great friends.
