Karen was born on September 10, 1964 in Jackson County to Frank and Mildred McDonald. She worked for many years in retail and loved cooking and trying new recipes, music and shopping. A lifelong animal lover, she could never turn a stray away. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Eddie McDonald and survived by her companion of 22 years, Hank Hinkel and a son, Hayden Hinkel, both of Ocean Springs, MS; siblings, Frankie McDonald, Sharryn McDonald, Jimmy McDonald and Mikel McDonald and his wife Kristi; grandchildren, Bella, Carmin, and Emily Meek; special friends, Sonny, Tina and Tyler; nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.
