Wiscasset- Kandy L. (Fairfield) Ward, 57 of Wiscasset, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born February 7, 1960 to Robert and Kathleen Fairfield. Kandy graduated from Wiscasset High School in 1978 and married Mark V. Ward Sr. in October of the same year. She worked for several area restaurants including Fairfield’s in Wiscasset which was one of her family’s businesses. Kandy ran the local Meals on Wheels out of her home from 1998 to 2005.
