Joyce Carlson, 79, of Pierz, MN, formerly Warren, MN, passed away Monday morning, August 31, 2009 at Lakewood Health Systems in Staples, MN.
Joyce Elaine Carlson was born on July 27, 1930 in rural Kennedy, MN, the daughter of Clarence and Mabel (Wikstrom) Borsvold. She was raised in the Strandquist MN area and graduated from Strandquist High School. On October 20, 1948, she married Clarence “Toby” Carlson. They made their home in Strandquist and Kennedy, MN before moving to Warren in 1959.
