Joseph E. “Joe” Keymann, 84, of Steelville, passed away Thursday evening, June 14, 2007 at the Gibbs Care Center in Steelville. Joe was born Thursday, June 29, 1922 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Aloys George and Anna M. (Lamprecht) Keymann.

Joe was married to Virginia Hoeft and to this union one daughter and one son were born. After her death he married Virginia Decker who also preceded him in death. Joe had been a cattle farmer on the Keymann family farm on Blount Road. He had served in the Army-Air Force from 1942 to 1945 with the rank of Corporal. He was a member of the Huzzah Baptist Church. Joe will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Those left to mourn his passing are his son, David Keymann and wife Kathy of Newburg, Missouri and his daughter Beverly Missey and husband Leroy of Potosi, Missouri; one daughter-in-law Sieu-my Moran and husband Gary; two step-daughters, Beverly Menkhus and husband Bob of St. Louis, Missouri and Linda Moss and husband Ed of Maryland Heights, Missouri; a special friend, Sally Becker; six grandchildren, Andy Keymann and wife Amanda, Alvina Hayes and husband James, Alfreda VanBladel and husband Tony, Leroy Missey II and special friend Heather Wideman, Rusty Missey and wife Amber, and Jamie Missey; five step grandchildren, Rachelle Moss, Ryan Moss and wife Becky, Christy Lucas and husband Bryan, Jennifer Menkhus, and Robbie Menkhus and wife Jessica; six great-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren.
