John “Jack” Scheie Jr., 70, of Red Lake Falls, MN, passed away Thursday, December 31st, 2009 at his Daughters home at Howard Lake Minnesota.
John Scheie Jr. was born Aug. 28, 1939 in Warren, MN, the son of John Sr. and Ruby (Howard) Scheie. On June 5, 1964, he married Ellen Fulton of Goodridge Minnesota. They lived in Warren for a short period of time before moving to rural Goodridge. In 1976, they moved to rural Red Lake Falls. John worked at Arctic Cat from 1966 – 1979 and then at Forsberg’s Incorporated until 1986. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and most of all being with his family.
Left to mourn his passing are his three children, Sherry Scheie of Howard Lake, MN, Brad (Jesse) Scheie of Warren, MN and John Scheie III of Red Lake Falls, MN; two grandchildren, Mercedes and Alex Scheie; a sister Joann (Kent) Christianson, Waco TX; two brother in laws, Robert (Cora) Fulton of Indiana, PA and Ronald Fulton of Roseau, MN, one niece and eight nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, grandparents, two brothers, one sister, one nephew, one niece and parents-in-law.
