John King Sloman of Vienna, MO passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Maries County Manor at the age of 81 years. He was born January 10, 1932 in the state of California to Theodore Sloman and Marian King Sloman. He was united in marriage on December 31, 1984 in Los Angeles, CA to Joanne Biado who preceded him in death in 2003.
John was in the U.S. Coast Guard stationed in California for a few yearsand later became a charter boat captain for a commercial fishing company. After leaving the fishing compnay, he went to work for Northrop Corporation, an aircraft manufacturing company and retired from there.
He is survived by a son, Jeffrey Sloman of Rogersville, MO; and sister in-law, Christine Kaiser and husband Cecil of Bourbon, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Joanne.
