Obituary
Jewel Hill of Lake Saint Louis, MO passed away on September 11, 2018 at the age of 89. She is survived by her son, Luther Duckins of Lake Saint Louis, MO; sister, Vullan Turner of St. Louis, MO; special cousin, Freddy Parker; granddaughter, Vedia Johnson of Saint Charles, MO; two grandsons, Dwayne Duckins and his fiance’ Shawna of O’Fallon, MO, Dwight (Melody) Duckins of FL; two great-grandsons, Brock Perkins of Columbia, MO, Dashon Duckins of Wright City, MO; step great-grandchildren, Naomi and Orlando; great-great-grandchild, Bostyn Perkins; She is preceded in death by her father, Quinton Cogbill, mother, Willie Belle Cogbill nee Venzant, half brother, Terry Cogbill. Jewel enjoyed fishing, shopping, and dressing up. She was an employee at 3M for 20 years. Jewell loved singing in church, especially old gospel hymns and was saved in the 1960’s. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
