Taaffe, Jean Ann (Matthies) 67, of Plymouth, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, July 7, 2014. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Taaffe and father, Howard Matthies. She was born in Albert Lea, MN, on December 4, 1946. Jean graduated from Robbinsdale High School in 1964 and attended college at the University of Minnesota. Jean was a wonderful mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. Jean is loved and missed by daughter, Jaclyn (Derick Hitchcock) Taaffe; mother, Eleanor, and step-father, Ed Soner; two sisters, Janet Rask and Joyce (George) Hogetvedt; two nieces, Sharee and Jennifer; and many other relatives and friends.
