Janice Irene Mason Shoemaker, 77, passed away March 12, 2021 at the Madison County Nursing Home.
A native of Springhill, LA, Mrs. Shoemaker lived most of her life in Canton. She was a member of Center Terrace Baptist Church.
Survivors include: husband of 63 years, Charles Shoemaker; daughters, Gayle Canoy and Dottie Feduccia (Larry); brother, Lamar Mason (Kay); grandchildren, Lauren Canoy and Mason Canoy (Casey) all of Canton, Jacob (Kelsi) Feduccia of Clinton and James “J.T.” Feduccia of Starkville; her great-grandson, Sawyer Canoy; and a number of nieces and nephews..
She was preceded in death by: sisters, Jeanette Cross and Diane Mason; niece, Gigi Pitts; and son-in-law, Tim Canoy.
The family would like to express a very large heart felt thank you to the Madison County Nursing Home Dementia Unit as they went above and beyond in their care.
