Janice Ilene Johnson, 59, of Roseau, died, Friday, April 6, 2006 in the Warroad Care Center, following a long battle with cancer. Janice was born February 8, 1948 in Roseau, the daughter of James and Dorothy Lane. She went to Thief Rivers Falls for training to become a LPN and was on the Dean’s List at the school her enter time. She lived all of her life in Roseau County. She was employed at Polaris, Marvin Windows, the Greenbush Nursing Home and Home Health Care in Roseau.
She is survived by her husband Vern; her mother, Dorothy Lane of Roseau; her son, Allan Aamodt of Greenbush, MN; her granddaughter, Whitley Aamodt; her brothers, Dwight, Wesley, Lonnie, Kelvin, Kerry, Wayne, Wade, Jason, Justin and Jaris Lane; her sisters, Lynelle Sandy, Lynette Lane , Rose Vettles, Janette Maki and Janella Lane and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, James and her brothers, Larry and Warren Lane.
