Janice Faye Russell, 64, of Viburnum, MO passed away Friday, October 31, 2008 at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia, MO. She was born October 1, 1944 to Harry and Audell (Bloom) Richey in Farmington, MO. On December 24, 1961 in Coffman, MO, Janice was united in marriage to Lloyd “Bud” Herman Russell, Jr.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, “Bud” of forty-six years; two sons, Lloyd Steven Russell and wife Barb of Viburnum, MO and Randall Scott Russell and wife Barb of Cherryville, MO; two daughters, Sandy Mounce and husband Brent and Mandy Davis and husband Brad all of Viburnum, MO; five sisters, Alma Griffith and Mary Lou Smith of Farmington, MO, Virginia House and Sylvia Mayberry of Perryville, MO and Wanda Pirtle of Texas; one sister-in-law, Ruth LaChance and husband Darrell of Fredericktown, MO; six grandchildren, Bethany, Latisha, Dillyn and Raelynn Russell and Kelci and Kasie Mounce; one step-grandson, Nick Hedrick; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Janice was a member of the Cherryville First Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, but most of all her grandchildren.
