Obituary
Jane C. Hogan passed away on June 15, 2018 at the age of 97. She was the beloved wife of Jim Hogan; She is survived by her children, Richard Hogan of Foristell, MO, Patrice (Gary) Pedersen of Saline, MI, Paul (Julie) Hogan of New Bloomfield, MO, Charles “Chuck” (Stephanie) Hogan of Wentzville, MO; Jacqueline Hogan of Moscow Mills, MO; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Francis Xavier Nachtmann, mother, Effie Lorena Nachtmann nee Myers, husband, James Francis Hogan, brothers, Francis Nachtmann, Daniel Nachtmann, Robert Nachtmann, sister, Suzanne Sachs. Jane was married for 67 years to her beloved Jim who passed away April 29th of this year. She was very active and was involved in many activities including, creating a singing group, named the Wentzville Choraliers, owned Wentzville Patke’s Dairy Store with her sister and owned and operated a tax business located in Wentzville in the early 1950’s. Jane was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church where she was active in the church choir and the quilting group. Jane was retired from St. Charles High School where she taught French, German and Choral music. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
