James “Jimmy” B. Watkins, age 63, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 4:23 am Friday, October 9, 2020, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
James was born on June 14, 1957, in Hannibal, MO, the son of James “Junior” and Elsie Virginia (Dodd) Watkins.
Survivors include his sons, Robert Ardrey and James B. Watkins, III; daughters, Jamie Sue Bergheger, Nellie Watkins, Sarah Ardrey and Brenda Cole; brothers, Dave Watkins (Sarha), John A. Watkins (Renee), Marvin Watkins (Marqueita) and Stevie Watkins; twelve grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by a special friend, Robert “Red” Kemp.
Jimmy was self-employed as a logger and mechanic. He was a Lutheran by faith.
Jimmy spent most of his time doing what he loved which included logging, and working on old cars and trucks. He also enjoyed building things, welding and the great outdoors. Jimmy’s most cherished love was his family and friends and the time spent with them.
