James Emery Cox passed away unexpectantly on July 24, 2022 at the age of 19.
Emery was born on March 10, 2003 in Lawrenceville, GA. All boy from the beginning, Emery loved dirt bikes, 4-wheelers and high action in general. He had great work ethics and was a hard worker. Emery was full of life and was loved by all who met him, he had a great sense of humor and kept you laughing. Although his life was short, the impact he left on others will live on forever.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Cox Jr.; grandfathers, Jimmy Walter Cox Sr. and James Walter Gaskins.
He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Mihalics and step-dad, Joey Mihalics of Gautier, MS; a sister, Joelle Cox of Mobile, AL; grandparents, Julia Kenney, Jan Stewart, Linda and David Billings; and many, many friends.
