James E. Pape passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the age of 90. He was the beloved husband of Ursula Pape (Froehlinger) of Warrenton, Missouri; He is survived by his son, Michael, and wife Shannon, Pape of Hopkinsville, KY; daughter, Linda, and husband Bruce, Bauer of Wentzville, MO; two sisters, Mary Ann Koetter of Warrenton, MO, Patricia Caudle of Kankakee, IL, Four Grandchildren, Emily Pape, Christopher Pape, Grace Pape, Danielle Bauer, and many nieces and nephews; He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Pape, mother, Ruby Pape (Conway), sister, Willene Profitt, sister, Esther “Elmo” Phillips. James and Ursula celebrated 51 years of marriage. He was the owner and operator of Pape Motor Co. in Centralia for over 40 years and a private pilot. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
