Herman Henry Hyvonen, age 66 of Mountain Iron died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 14, 2017. He was born December 1, 1950 in Virginia, the son of Raymond and Rommel (Kern) Hyvonen and was a graduate of the Eveleth Vocational Technical College. Herman married Nancy Blight on February 8, 1985 in the Sand Lake Chapel and was a retired carpenter.
Herman is survived by wife: Nancy; daughter: Bobbijo Blight of Buhl; son: Kory Hyvonen of Kansas; siblings: Raeann (John) Terch of North Fort Meyers, FL, Connie Sunde of New Mexico, and Scott Hyvonen of Virginia, MN; grandchildren: Nathaniel Blight, Kaitlyn Hyvonen, Sara Hyvonen, and Eathan Hyvonen; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Sally Ollila.
