Gray – Harry Eugene Kerr Jr. of Gray went to be with his Lord and Savior July 5, 2015. He was born in Lewiston, Maine on April 27, 1937, the son of the late Harry E. Kerr, Sr. and Mildred (Long) Kerr. He graduated from Deering High School in Portland, Maine in 1955, and recently attended his 60th class reunion.

Harry had a love for the great outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed camping for many years at Lakeside Pines in Bridgton, Maine. While his daughters were growing up, Harry was very active in umpiring Gray Rec summer softball games. He was also part of an adult softball league.

In 1999, Harry was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer that spread to his liver. He survived the cancer and he was declared a miracle by his oncologist.

After his retirement from Setra of North America in 2002, Harry discovered a love for woodworking. He enjoyed being in his shop making American Girl doll furniture for his granddaughter, Hannah.

Harry was also known for his love of sports, especially the New York Yankees and the New York football Giants.

Harry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Gloria; daughters Cheryl Ramsdell and her husband Joe; Karen Boudreau and her husband Carl; grandchildren Kristin Zadakis, Ryan Ramsdell, Lindsay Sawyer and Hannah Boudreau; great-granddaughters, Olivia and Emilia Zadakis.
