Gloria “Ann” Coombs, nee Delashmet, of Steelville, MO was born on April 2, 1947 in Parma, Missouri to Howell and Ava Delashmet and passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the age of 69 years. She was united in marriage to Leland D. Coombs in October of 1969 in Naples, Florida.
Ann was employed at Southeast Bank of Naples for seventeen years. In 1986 her family moved to Steelville, MO. She became employed at Sullivan Metal Finishing and Carden Machine Shop from 1988 until 2012 when she retired.
She had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Steelville for many years.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Howell and Ava Delashmet; two brothers, John Delashmet and Jerry Delashmet and wife Shelby; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Delashmet; two nephews, Colon Moore and Anthony Moore.
She is survived by her children, Angela Kaltenbach and husband Tony and Leland Coombs, Jr. all of Steelville, MO and Lisa Graham and husband Randy of Naples, FL; one sister, Lois Carden and husband Richard of Steelville, MO; brothers, Ancil Delashmet of Gaffney, SC, Howell Delashmet, Jr. and wife Margaret of Kenansville, FL and Roger Delashmet and wife Eva of Naples, FL; sister-in-law, Carole Delashmet of Naples, FL; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
