Gerald Patrick Young, 49, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Steelville, MO passed away Monday, October 13, 2008 in St. Louis. He was born January 2, 1959 in Steelville, MO to Roy and Earline (Whalen) Young.
He is survived by his life partner, Toni Staats of St. Louis, MO; three daughters, Clarissa Schoenbeck and Amber Akins of Cuba, MO and Candice Young and partner, Mike Mueller of Steelville, MO; three brothers, Gaylord Young and wife Eloise of Washington, MO and Dale Young and wife Gean and Clay Young and wife Virginia all of Steelville, MO; seven grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Earline Young and one brother, Roy Linn Young.
The last few years he worked as a business maintenance man in St. Louis. He was a member of the Steelville Presbyterian Church.
Gerald loved to hunt, fish, float the rivers and enjoy life.
