Florence Saranne (Potucek) Knutson passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the MeritCare Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN at the age of 72.
Florence was born on November 29, 1936 to Albert and Muriel (Wildes) Potucek. Flossy was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Florence was united in marriage to Neil Edward Knutson on July 30, 1952 in Red Lake Falls, MN. The couple lived near Angus, Bagley and Milwaukee, WI before making their home by Viking. To this union they had 10 children. Neil died on March 21, 1989.
Florence, in the past, had worked at the Good Samaritan Center in Warren and for American Crystal Sugar at the Warren piler.
