Florence “Flo” Duckworth, 60, of Rolla, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri.
Flo moved to St. James, Missouri in 1989 coming from Lebanon, Missouri.
After moving to St. James, Flo was employed by California Manufacturing until it closed. After the factory closed she attended Metro Business College; she received her degree in Small Business Management in 1995. She worked in several of the local factories before becoming a caregiver for seniors and the disabled. Flo was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #5608, and one time member of the Honor Guard. She loved her family, her pets, sewing, gardening and helping people. Flo loved to throw a party and her bonfires were a much anticipated summer event.
Survivors include; her husband, Kevin; daughters, Angela Knab of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Natosha Marcum of Lebanon, Missouri, Christina (Danny) Ellzey of Nevada, Missouri; sisters, Joan Glenn of Saint James, Missouri, Sharon (Robert) Steward of Lebanon, Missouri, brother, Bill Grable of Saint James, Missouri; grandchildren, Jami (Steven), Wilson, Bradly, Blake, Danielle, and Jayden; great-grandchildren, Dean and Sarah; aunts, Phyllis White of Saint James and Deena Cole of San Diego, California, as well as, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother, Adele; her father Wayne; step-father, Willie; sister, Ellen; brothers, Jay R and James Dee and fiancé, Robert.
