Mrs. Thomas, 82, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, May 23rd, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Dolores, also known as Meme and Mrs. T, was a lifelong Christian who spent many years doing for others. As a multi-talented lady, she spent countless hours cooking meals, sewing, and teaching art and line dancing lessons. Her life revolved around family and helping others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, Mona Haskins (Kenny) of Meridian, MS, Becky Howard (Robby) of Joppa, AL, Ricky Thomas of Ponce de Leon, FL; grandchildren, Shannon Crago of Meridian, MS, Brandi McDonald (Mardy) of Joppa, AL, Collin and Angelina Thomas of Freeport, FL; great grandchildren, Kaylen and Abbie Crago of Meridian, MS, Moree and Meadow McDonald of Joppa, AL; brother, Delen Savell (Mary Alice) of Foley, AL; numerous nieces and nephews; friends; and her beloved dog, Emma.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Raymond Thomas; mother, Mildred Savelle; father, Otto Savell; and sister, Joyce Savelle.
