Faith Eugena Dillon, nee Clonts, of Washington, MO passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the age of 87. She was born on April 23, 1924 in Cherryville, MO to Jesse Hoyle Clonts, Sr. and Iona Lee Allsman Clonts. On August 13, 1949 at Rolla, MO, she was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” E. Dillon.
Faith taught for two years at Farrar School where she rode her horse to school and then worked for Jonas Drug for a few years during World War II. She later worked as a beautician for several years and then as a cashier at the Lee Summit School where she could be with her daughters. She was a member of the Steelville Presbyterian Church.
She was a great cook, an excellent seamstress and loved to dance.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of sixty-two years, Dick; son-in-law Wayne Lamb of Kansas City, MO; two sisters Eva Gladden of Washington, MO and Ina Gladden of Cherryville, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters Nancy Lee Harvey and husband James and Connie Lynn Lamb; one brother Jesse H. Clonts, Jr. and wife Irene; three sisters Hallie Clonts, Helen Clonts and Hazel Lowe and husband Frank; and two brothers-in-law Jim Gladden and Wayne Gladden.
The Family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Honored to be casket bearers were Danny Gladden, Joe Gladden, John Gladden, Steve Shofner, Joe Green, Bill Coffman and Dr. Ken Colbert.
