Emmitt Bunton was born on May 19, 1929 to his parents: Thomas and Ceclia (Cochran) Bunton. Emmitt Bunton was united in marriage to Shirley Headrick on June 20, 1963 in Rolla, Missouri. To this union five children were born. Shirley was laid to rest on September 18, 1999.
Emmitt Bunton worked in maintenance for V-K Chevrolet; and as a night watchman for Boystown.
Emmitt Bunton is survived by two sons: Rick Henson and wife Darlene of Jefferson City, Missouri; and Terry Henson and wife Kelley of Edgar Springs, Missouri; two daughters: Cheryl Watson and husband Wade; and Brenda Black and husband Jim both of St. James, Missouri; three brothers: Delmar Bunton and wife Shirley of New Florence, Missouri; Darel Bunton and Donald Bunton Sr. both of Rolla, Missouri; two sisters: Edna Wolfert and husband Norman of Moscow Mills, Missouri and Genevieve Crain of Troy, Missouri; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Emmitt will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
