Ellis Paul Smith was born on January 1, 2022 in Lansing, Michigan to Jordan and Sydni (Bearss) Smith. On January 29, 2022, our baby died unexpectedly. Ellis gained his wings with mom and dad by his side. For a boy that came into this world so small, he left such a big impact on so many hearts. He is in his eternal home, with Jesus, where there is no pain and suffering.
Preceding Ellis in death are his uncle Pete Smith; great-grandparents, Robert and Elizabeth Bearss, Donald W. Thelen, Norman and Margaret Platte, and Reynold and Irene Smith. He is survived by his loving parents, Jordan and Sydni Smith; grandparents, Paul and Amy Bearss and Pete and Linda Smith; great-grandmother, Therese Thelen; aunts and uncles, Allie (Andrew) Johnson, Aaron Bearss, Stephanie (Todd) Thelen, Corey (Robin) Smith, Joel (Amber) Smith, Matt (Kelli) Smith, Aaron (Kristen) Smith, Damian (Malynda) Smith, Nate (Alli) Smith, Gabe Smith, and Kate (Jason) Campbell; and many special cousins.
