Obituary
Elaine O’Leary nee Kidd of Tolland, Connecticut, born February 26, 1952 passed away, December 22, 2018 in Hartford, Connecticut as a result of an auto accident at the age of 66. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Carl M. Kidd and Lucile W. Kidd nee Brakensiek. She graduated from University of Missouri-Columbia, Missouri and had been a licensed Occupational Therapist. Her family, friends and patients will remember her as a passionate, caring and giving person. She loved to stay busy spending hours knitting, quilting and genealogy research. This research and many handmade gifts are treasured by many. Survivors include her three children, Jennifer O’Leary (Kevin Pushee) of Jamestown, Rhode Island, Timothy (Jenny) O’Leary of Chester, Connecticut and Katherine O’Leary of Mystic, Connecticut; brother, Glennon (Eileen) Kidd of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania; sister, Darlene (Dale) Weber of Bismarck, Missouri; uncle, Emmet (Doris) Brakensiek of Wright City, Missouri; 4, grandchildren; 3, nieces; 3, step-nephews; 1, great-niece and 3, great-nephews; special friend, Bill Bradford; godson, Aaron Kay; beloved dog, Bently and many other extended family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
