Edwin “Ed” C. Roberts, Jr., passed away on November 29, 2018 at the age of 94. Born July 5, 1924 in St. Louis, Missouri to Edwin C. Roberts, Sr. and Lillian Sophia (Reimers) Roberts. Ed is survived by his special friend Margaret Seibert of Granite City, Illinois; his two sons, Michael Edwin Roberts (wife Debbie) of Branson, Missouri, David C. Roberts (wife Karen) of Foristell, Missouri, two step-daughters, Glenda Noeth (husband Don), Lisa Gaines; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father; Edwin G. Roberts, Sr., mother, Lillian Sophia Roberts (Reimers), former spouse Lorraine June Roberts, companion Dorothy Brooks, companion Bernice Beavon, step-daughter Bonnie Evans. Ed served in World War II 1943-1946. He was a member of DAV Granite City, Illinois and Missouri, a member of American Legion, VFW, Tri-City Vets, Am Vets, and Eagles of Granite City, Illinois. He also was employed at the General Service Administration Army Record Center in St. Louis, Missouri as an electrician, and held a part-time position at the St. Louis County Police Department. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
