He gave his life to Christ at an early age. He loved nature, fixing on cars, carpentry, loved playing baseball, basketball, and he loved people, never met a stranger.
He departed this life on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his ex-wife Bobbie Dortch of Chicago, IL; his three sons, Shantel Dortch (Takesha) of Markham, IL; Steve Hampton (Catrina) of Holly Springs, MS, Suvino Mason (Chiquita), of St. John, IN; three brothers, Walter L. Mason (Phyllis), of Lamar, MS, Ivory Mason of Holly Springs, MS, Tracy Mason, and James Mason (Bridget) both of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Willie Gatewood of Holly Springs, MS and Brenda Mason of Memphis, TN; twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Felix Kimbrough and Dora Mae Tate Mason, three brothers Willie B. Mason, George Lee Mason and William J. Mason, a sister Dora Lee Beard.
