Echo Lofthus, 82, of Oslo, MN, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.
Echo Sather was born on May 30, 1927 in Bigwoods Township, Marshall County, MN, the daughter of Albin and Sophie (Avdem) Sather. She was a life long resident of the Oslo area where she also attended school. On February 9, 1947, Echo was united in marriage to Leeward Lofthus. They made their home in rural Oslo. In 1996, they moved into Oslo.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she enjoyed quilting with the church group.
