E. Mary Davis, nee Dobkins, of Steelville, MIssouri passed away Monday, July 4, 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 67 years. She was born October 2, 1948  in Waynesville, Missouri to Darrell and Gladys Sells Dobkins. On May 7, 1966 she was united in marriage to Gilbert “Eddie” Edgar Davis and to this union four children were born.

She worked for the Department of Natural Resources through the state of Missouri retiring after twenty years.

Mary was of the Pentecostal faith with a deep love of the Lord. She always loved to sew for her family, herself and others. Mary also enjoyed crocheting, cooking and flower arranging. Most of all she loved her family, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Darrell and Gladys Dobkins, her husband, Eddie Davis, father-in-law, Gilbert Davis, brother-in-law, Phil Davis; and sister-in-law, Barbara Harper.

Mary will be sadly missed by her children, Tamara Richardson and husband Chris of Granite City, IL, Timothy Davis of Steelville, MO, Tina Forester and husband Bryan of West Plains, MO and Tonya Embry and husband Mark of Huntingburg, IN; mother-in-law, Ina Davis of Steelville, MO; brother, Franklin Dobkins and wife Karen of Bridgeton, MO; brother-in-law, Charles Harper and wife Donna of Steelville, MO; sister-in-law, Darlene Turner and husband Ron of Rolla, MO; ten grandchildren, Adrienne Knox and husband Trey, Andrea Johnson and husband Andrew, Allison Combs and husband Austin, Olivia Lunn and husband Mike, Anderson Richardson, Jackson Embry, Laura K. Davis, Phoebe Embry, Ainslee Richardson and Colton Forester; six great-grandchildren, Leahanna, Levi, Wesley, Melody, Paxton and Rilee; other relatives and friends.

The Family received friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Honored to be casket bearers were Anderson Richardson, Jackson Embry, Trey Knox, Andrew Johnson, Mikey Lunn, Stephen Harper, Mike Davis and Chad Barton.
