Doyle E. “Pete” Heuser of St. James passed away Thursday July 30, 2009 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Mo. He was 66 years of age.
Pete as he was know by his family and friends, was born June 24, 1943 at Salem, Mo., the son of the late John Edward and Amelia (Sewell) Heuser.
Pete Heuser is survived by his wife Catherine M. (Turner) of 24 years. Son: Billy Eugene Heuser of St. James and step-son Donald Aaron Mitchell of California, Mo. Daughter: Patricia Parson and husband Doug of St. James. Brothers: William Heuser and wife Josie of the state of California; John Heuser Jr. and friend Irene of St. James, and half brother Bob Rosenburg and wife Margaret of Arkansas and half sister Henritta Zisk of Illinois. Two Grandsons: David Parrot and wife Amy and Dereck Parson both of St. James. Two Step-grandaughters: Jessia, Natasha Matchell of Holt Summit, Mo. Two Great Grandchildren: Ashland and Ethan Parrot of St. James, Mo. Brother-In-Laws; Danny Kisslinger and wife Pam of St. James; Leslie MOreland and wife Ginger of Vienna and Marvin Turner of Cape Girardeau, Mo. along with Sister-In-Law Bonnie Moreland and husband Don of St. James. Along with nieces and nephews.
Pete loved his family. He worked as a dump truck driver for St. James Ready Mix. He loved to be in the woods and cut cedar with his son.
