Dorothy Lucille Weber, nee Adams, 77, of Gray Summit, MO, formerly of Steelville, MO passed away Friday, September 30, 2011. She was born December 6, 1933 in Crawford County, Missouri to Phillip Marion Adams and Millie Nelata Kimberlin Adams. On December 16, 1951 in Maplewood, Missouri, she was united in marriage to George Robert “Bob” Weber who preceded her in death in 2006.
Dorothy worked at Boeing Aircraft in St. Louis as an accounting supervisor for many years and retired in 2000. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Gray Summit.
In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bob; one brother Henry Adams; five sisters Neola McKay and husband A.F. “Mac”, Neleta Maloney, Ava Comfort and husband Glenn, Betty Ferrell and husband Lewis and Opal Comfort and husband Louis; brothers-in-law, John Weber and Richard Asplin; and sister-in-law, Wilma Nabe.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Cynthia Marie Jackson and husband Steve of Gray Summit, MO and Julie Murray and husband Chuck of Martinsville, IN; one brother George Adams and wife Sharon of Steelville, MO; two sisters, Pauline Adams of Steelville, MO and Anna Marie Horn and husband Robert of New York; one brother-in-law, Bill Weber and wife Linda of Cherryville, MO; four sisters-in-law, Bonnie Garrison and husband Clarence and Lavern McPeters and husband Paul all of Steelville, MO, Faye Wright and husband Edwin of Rogersville, MO and Wanda Sue Asplin of Aurora, MO; five grandchildren, Christopher Jackson and wife Michelle, Heather Pipes and husband Jeffery, and Benjamin, Hope and Rachel Murray; four great-grandchildren, April and Dallas Jackson and Jace and Holly Pipes; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
