Dorothy “Lucy” Lucille Dahlgren, 80, of Baudette, MN died, Thursday, July 19, 2007 in the LakeWood Health Center in Baudette. She was born on Oct. 31, 1926 in Herscher, IL to Herman and Maude Jordan. She moved to Baudette in 1972 and has been employed at various area resorts and restaurants including the Trails End, Sportsman, Lighthouse and the Ranch House mostly as a cook.
Lucy loved gardening, crafts, canning, movies and painting. She was known to many as grandma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her fist husband, Rudolph Lucek; her second husband, Earl Dahlgren; seven brothers, five sisters; grandsons, Bradley Hartell and Narra-Lyn Lucek.
Survivors include, her children, Rudolph (Ethel) Lucek of Clementson, MN; Ron (Dorothy) Lucek of Baudette; Connie Norstebon of Baudette; Rory Lucek of Baudette; Randy (Cindy) Lucek of Campbell, MN; 15 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; her step children Joan Lewis; Pat (Warren) Hughes; Doreen Hartnell; Dan Dahlgren; Gary (Kay) Dahlgren; Diana (Kevin) McLain; many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
