Donald “Allen” Green of Sligo, Missouri passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at his home. He was born May 5, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri to Corbett and Betty (Smith) Green. On December 8, 1989 in Davisville, Missouri he was united in marriage to Lisa Haney.
Allen worked as a truck driver for over twenty-five years. He enjoyed watching television, reading and raising cattle. Most of all, he loved being around his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Green of Sligo, MO; his mother, Betty Green of Davisville, MO; four daughters, Jennifer Lessley and husband Jeffery and Lana Hicks and husband Michael all of Belleview, MO, and Sheona Norfolk of Salem, MO and Onisha Green of Sligo, MO; three brothers, Ronnie Green and Roger Green and wife Patricia all of Cherryville, MO and Michael Green and wife Karen of Caledonia, MO; two sisters, Tammy McCartney and husband Pat of House Springs, MO and Donna Alvey and husband Chester of Steelville, MO; seven grandchildren, Zachary, Dakota, Kasie, Lacie, Elizabeth, McKenzie and Paityn.
He was preceded in death by his father; his sister, Robin Green; and grandson, David Jairus Lunsford III.
