Dolly Aliane McMahan-Perkins, 76, of Moss Point passed away, Friday, August 26, 2022 surrounded by family and friends.

Dolly Was born August 11, 1946 in Pascagoula, MS to the late Mae Moore and Donald Hill. Dolly was a present, kind of friend and mother, if you needed Dolly, she was there. For over 50 years Dolly was a hairdresser and she loved it. Those whose hair she cut became extended family, even after retirement she had her “Golden Girls” as she called them that she continued to care for.  She was a long time member Lily Orchard Baptist Church, whom she loved dearly. In 2012 her husband, “J” passed away and several years later she would find love again in, Doug Perkins. They became one, if you saw one you generally saw the other. Her unexpected death has left so many vacancies in our lives. We will cherish the many memories of good times, left with us by Dolly,  this loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

In addition to her parents Dolly was preceded in death by her brothers David Hill and Michael Alvarado. Her husband, John (J) McMahan.

She is survived by her loving husband, Johnnie “Doug” Perkins; sibling, Donell Hill; half siblings, Denise and Daniel Alvarado; children, Paul (Jana) Tillman, Mitzy Barr and Chad (Sylvia) Tillman; step-children, Robbie (Holly) Perkins, Kristi Perkins, Robert Provalenko and Billy (Judy) Towles.; grandchildren, Brooke and Tori Walker, Taylor, Gracie, Kylie and Kayla Tillman; step-grandchildren, Tyler (Alise) Joiner, Jade and Brayden Perkins; great-grandchild, Thomas Joiner; two special friends, Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Bufford and David Bardwell; and numerous other relatives and friends.
