Obituary
Deacon Frank R. Danna Sr. passed away on May 23, 2018 at the age of 89. He is survived by his children, Maria (Jean-Luc) Richet, Frank Rocco (Mehrnaz) Danna Jr., Jeannett Eichenberger, Catherine Danna, Theresa (Steve) Danna-Douglas, Eugenio (Sandra) Danna, Bernadette (Frank) Baer, Patricia (Jason) Premo; daughter-in-law, Mila Danna; 28 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joan Vienhage, Ralph Danna, Ron Danna and Debra Hoosack. He is preceded in death by his father, Rocco Danna, mother, Mary A. Danna nee Pagnini, his beloved wife, Margaret V. Danna nee Vatterott, son, Charles G. Danna, sister, Grace Erker. Frank was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from Chaminade High School; he continued his education at St. Mary’s in Texas followed by St. Louis University. Frank worked in banking and was the President of several Mortgage Companies, but his true calling was his service as a Deacon in the Roman Catholic Church. He was ordained as a Deacon in the St. Louis Archdiocese in 1985. He served at a number of parishes, most recently at St. Steven’s Parish in Chandler, Arizona, and Pastoral Services at Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, Arizona. Dad was a gentle man, a great father and husband. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
